Personal Safety Trainer (x2)
British Transport Police (BTP) are recruiting for 2 Personal Safety Trainers for permanent contracts paying £36,529.65 plus £3033.56 London Allowance per annum based at our Learning & Development Centre, Spring House, London.

As a Personal Safety Trainer with BTP, you will be responsible for the delivery of Personal Safety Training to Police Officers, Special Constables and Police Staff to ensure that force targets are met in line with College of Policing guidelines.
As a Personal Safety Trainer, you will be required to:
- Deliver various PST programmes to ensure Officers and Staff have the necessary skills to carry out their role.
- Deliver first aid to ensure Officers and Staff have the necessary skills to carry out their role.
- Produce training need reports and evaluate the current training curriculum to identify areas for programme development.
- Conduct fitness assessments and accurately record and report results to line managers as required.

The successful Personal Safety Trainer will be required to evidence the following:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification (or equivalent) with experience of creating and implementing lesson plans.
- Experience of delivering a structured programme of physical activities to groups of varied levels of ability.
- Current First Aid At Work.
- Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification (or equivalent)
- Working experience of maintaining accurate records and conducting risk assessments and accident reporting.
- Instructional/coaching skills with a strong emphasis on progression and regression for individuals within a group setting.
