Integrated Systems Business Support Officer
An Integrated Systems Business Support Officer is required for a permanent role paying £32,757.33 per annum, plus £3,033.56 London allowance per annum, with British Transport Police (BTP) based at FHQ London. The candidate will be able to work a blended approach of both home and office based working.
BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As Integrated Systems Business Support Officer with BTP you will provide specialist advice and guidance regarding the functionality and capability of Niche, ControlWorks, iPatrol (mobile solution), Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) and Body Worn Video (BWV). Calls for service via the IT Service Desk that cannot be resolved by service desk staff or other IT staff will be allocated to the post holder to resolve.
As Business Support Officer you will be required to:
- Provide a support service and respond to all received calls, incoming queries or complaints, investigating/analysing all related issues to the Core Operational Systems (Niche, ControlWorks, iPatrol, DEMS and BWV) in line with all required BTP and governance service standards, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance regarding the functionality and capability of Core Operational Systems. Calls for service via the IT Service Desk that cannot be resolved by service desk staff or other IT staff will be allocated to the team to resolve.
- Responsible for making system changes as directed by the Digital Support Specialist and Operational Systems Business Analysts including but not limited to creation of new units and the designing of workflows, forms and templates.

- Demonstrable experience of effectively operating a business database.
- Demonstrable experience of effective relationship management of colleagues and customers (internal and external to the organisation).
- Will have proven experience of working in a service delivery environment.
