An Inclusion & Diversity Learning Delivery Coordinator is required for a permanent role paying £34,139.86 plus £2835.11 London Allowance (for London-based candidates only) per annum with British Transport Police (BTP). 

The work location is flexible and home working can be facilitated, however, you will be required to travel at least once a week. Travel and accommodation will be provided, if required.

BTP is the national police force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As Inclusion & Diversity Learning Delivery Coordinator with BTP, you will support the delivery of the commitments and goals outlined in our Inclusion & Diversity Strategy.

As Inclusion & Diversity Learning Delivery Coordinator, you will be required to:

  • Support the Training Delivery Lead in responding to knowledge gaps identified by the force in any ethics and inclusion & diversity related topics.
  • Deliver training programmes aimed at increasing organisational and individual awareness of inclusion & diversity.
  • Lead on engagement with employees and representative groups (including Staff Networks and Employee Support Associations) on inclusion & diversity related discussions.

In order to apply, you must have the permanent right to live and work in the UK and have been resident in the UK for the previous 5 years. BTP has undertaken a review of Police Staff pensions and as a result of this the Police Staff pension will be changing. The current police staff pension is a Defined Benefit scheme which is administered by the Railways Pension scheme. The new pension scheme which is launching is a Defined Contribution scheme which is administered by Royal London. The new pension scheme is awaiting formal approval and an introductory date is not finalised.
