Transferee and Re-Joiner Detective Constable - Talent Pool
British Transport Police (BTP) are looking to recruit qualified Detectives Constables at various locations in England, Wales and Scotland.
Police Constables play a critical front-line role in the prevention and detection of crime and the criminal justice system. Constables work in partnership on a day-to-day basis with local communities, stakeholders and colleagues in order to promote law and order, reduce the fear of crime, provide reassurance and build confidence to improve the quality of life for the general public.
Our CID Officers conduct proactive and reactive investigations into all crimes that happen on the rail network ensuring that the best possible evidence is secured and cases are fully and efficiently investigated to allow for a considered decision on the prosecution of offenders. They act as a liaison officer for victims and witnesses of crimes, ensuring that they are made aware of the progress of the investigation with the appropriate support and reassurance.
