A Learning & Development Administrator is required for a temporary 14-month contract paying £26,098.99 plus £3033.56 London Allowance per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based at our Learning & Development Centre at Spring House, London. This role offers a hybrid approach to working, however, the successful candidate will be required to attend our Spring House office at least 3 days per week.

BTP is the national police force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing.

As a Learning & Development Administrator with BTP, you will provide administration support for training events as part of the central L&D administration function within the Learning & Development Business Centre.

As a Learning & Development Administrator, you will be required to:

  • Administer all training course bookings, including all necessary arrangements related to delegates, resources and facilities.
  • Prepare course materials required for the delivery of training.
  • Act as lead administrator for one specific faculty (e.g. Personal Safety Training).
  • Provide first line support for all internal training queries received at the Business Centre via email or telephone.

The successful Learning & Development Administrator will be required to evidence the following:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Competent IT Skills
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
