We are recruiting for an End User Device Technician on a permanent contract paying up to £37,546.44 per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) this role is fully office based at BTP Force Headquarters, Camden, London. 

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year.

As an End user Device Technician you will be required to manage multiple end user devices for core technology & digital capabilities. Including but not limited to, radio, mobile phones and mobile data devices. The resolution (both reactive and proactive) of IT incidents and service requests within the remit of the above noted disciplines throughout the force. Manages the configuration and issue of mobile devices ensuring robust asset management is in place and carrying out regular auditing. Manage end of life process ensuring security and sustainability requirements upheld. Provide end user training and support. The role provides device administration, asset management and user support for approx. 5,000 hand portable and in vehicle radio devices and approx. 3500 mobile devices including phones and mobile data devices.

  • Salary of up to £39,887.89 (£32,757.33 base + £3033.56 London Allowance + non contractual/non pensionable Skills for the Information Age Supplement of up to £4,097 amount awarded depends on assessment either 0%,50% or 100% awarded)
