BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s rail network. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and railway staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As a Recruit Development Administrator you will be required to provide administration support for training events as part of the central L&D administration function within the Learning & Development Business Centre. 

We are looking to recruit a full time Recruit Development Administrator to be based from our Learning and Development centre in Highbury and Islington, on a Permanent basis. The salary for this position is £20,117.79 plus a London allowance of £2,520.

Purpose of the Role:

Continually monitor and record the performance of all probationary constables in completing the mandatory requirements required to complete phases two and three of the recruit training programme, working closely with the recruit development team. There are also many ad-hoc duties and all this needs to be completed to relevant timescales and coordinated with her fellow administrative staff and done to the correct standards as laid out in the regulations and policies of the British Transport Police.
