An Administrator is required to support the Suicide Prevention and Mental Health (SPMH) team for an 18 month role paying £19,918.61. This position is based in Birmingham.


BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s rail network. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and railway staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As SPMH Administrator with BTP you will help ensure that all people who come to notice on the railway for suicidal behaviour are identified and care plans put in place.

 

Key activities include:

  • Ensuring effective data collection and collation of high quality, accurate and relevant research to be used in conjunction with the teams reporting requirements.
  • Provide a timely, high quality and effective service to support the decision-making process within BTP and to support the delivery of BTP's objectives and priorities.
  • Collate standard letter submissions including referrals

Key requirements include:

  • Five GCSE’s (or equivalent). A - C grade in Maths and English are essential.
  • Excel or similar database system qualification evidenced through work or academic experience.
  • Research/ data administration evidenced either through work experience or educational background.
  • Trained and experienced in using Microsoft Office applications and different databases for the purpose of research and presenting results
