An Infrastructure Support Engineer is required for a permanent contract with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Camden, London. 

BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s railways. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As Infrastructure Support Engineer with BTP you will play a key role in migrating part of our estate to a private/public cloud based solution whilst also assisting with the delivery of Office 365.

The Infrastructure Engineer will form part of the wider Infrastructure Team supporting a range of core technologies to ensure our frontline and supprot functions have high availability technology.

Key activities include:

  • Offer specialist expertise to support our core infrastructure Support
  • Ensure incident resolution, requests, changes and problem solving activities delivered to agreed SLAs.
  • Enduring upgrades to core technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory and Direct Access.
  • Administering a range of technologies such as Azure and Active Directory.

  • Salary up to £42,626.89 (£31,982.89 + 10% on call allowance + £2,520 London Allowance + a SFIA supplement of up to £4,926).
