An IT Business Analyst is required for an 18 month fixed term contract with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Camden, London to support the delivery of the Force’s new communication network.

BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s railways. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

As a Business Analyst with BTP you will gather requirements and offer project support in order for the wider programme team to successfully deliver the Emergency Service Network (ESN) into British Transport Police including the migration of the current Airwave provision and associated control room systems while maintaining full operational capability.

Key activities include:

  • To act as a conduit between the business units, organisational stakeholders and solutions delivery team.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of future programme requirements.
  • Assist the Programme Manager with analysis requirments.

Key requirements include:

  • Related business analyst work experience involved in large scale business transformation projects.
  • Experience of working with different methodologies.
  • Expertise in business process mapping and analysis; working with people, process and technology on new solutions.
  • Experience of gathering requirements across a complex project.

  • Salary up to £51,396.10 (£37,212.10 base salary + £2,520 London Allowance + a SFIA supplement of up to £11,664 depending on skills and experience)
