British Transport Police (BTP) have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Portfolio Engagement and Service Delivery Manager to be based at our Technology Department in Camden.

BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s rail network. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and railway staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As Portfolio Engagement & Service Delivery Manager with BTP you will proactively engage with the business on new technology trends and initiatives whilst being the single point of contact for any change.

 

Key challenges and accountabilities for the role include:

•           Progressing any Service Delivery issues through the creations and management of Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the IT Charter

•           Lead a Service Delivery Team consisting of a Continual Service Support Officer, Incident and Problem Manager and Administrators.  

•           Build relationships with key business partners and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.

 

Requirements for this role include:

•           Accredited to ITIL Foundation Level or higher

•           Experience in business relationship/supplier relationship which may or may not be related to Technology delivery roles

•           Experience in Service Management environments

•           Experience in project full-lifecycle support including producing high standard documentation

 

In return for your experience, we can offer you:

•           Salary up to £58,759.20 (£46,766.20 + £2,470 London Allowance + a SFIA supplement of up to £9,523 depending on skills and experience)
