Vulnerability Administrator is required for a permanent contract role paying £18,662.94 plus £2,570 London Allowance per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based in London (NW1)

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As a Vulnerability Administrator with BTP you will support the public protection and vulnerability department by ensuring effective data management and supporting the provision and collation of high quality, accurate and relevant research to be used in conjunction with the teams reporting requirements. 

As a Vulnerability Administrator you will be required to:

  • Collect information on public protection incidents from various internal and external sources for the purpose of research and analysis.
  • Make data available to stakeholders and partners as directed, ensuring the integrity of all data held within the department.
  • Support other members of staff with research and where necessary identify areas requiring further information.
  • Maintain databases and input data in a consistent and accurate manner onto all systems.

The successful Vulnerability Administrator will be required to evidence the following skills:

  • Previous administrative experience with demonstrable organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Minimum GCSE English Language and Maths grade C or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with good telephone manner
