A Personal Assistant is required for a part time 18.5 hours per week role paying £13,236.65 per annum (£26,527.31 per annum pro rata) with British Transport Police based in Camden, London on a permanent basis.

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast-paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As PA to the Chief Information Officer with BTP you will support the Technology Senior Management Team by carrying out a range of administrative duties.

As PA to the Chief Information Officer you will be required to:

  • Offer effective diary management on behalf of the CIO.
  • Lead on bookings for travel and accommodation for staff within the Technology Department.
  • Assist with research, collation and analysis of information and preparation of reports, briefing papers and presentations.
  • Receive and make telephone calls on behalf of the CIO.

  • Previous relevant PA/secretarial experience or extensive administrative experience.
  • Experience of scheduling meetings and events, preparing agendas and documentation, taking and drafting accurate minutes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
