Senior Leadership Trainer

A Senior Leadership Trainer is required on an 18 month fixed term contract paying up to £49,261.20 (Inclusive of London allowance) with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Central London. 

BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s railways. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As a Senior Leadership Trainer with BTP you will be required to Work closely with the Head of the Leadership Academy, the Senior Leadership Trainer will design, develop and deliver the Leadership and Management training for the BTP Police Staff, with the aim of ensuring that all programmes are aligned to the delivery of organisational strategic objectives as well as delivering transformational leadership skills and behaviours.

As a Senior Leadership Trainer you will be required to:

• Design, develop and deliver blended Leadership and Management training interventions for Police Staff of all levels across the organisation that support the BTP’s strategic objectives and transformation goals.
• Evaluate the success of the solutions, particularly around the changes and improvements of behaviours and culture.
• Provide tailored, individual coaching to senior Police Staff to assist in developing their skills to meet BTP’s future needs.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation, particularly with key stakeholders and senior leadership teams.

The successful Senior Leadership Trainer will be required to evidence the following skills/experience:

• Experience of managing and leading a team/function.
• Demonstrable experience in Coaching and Mentoring.
• Exceptional presentation skills - ability to deliver leadership development interventions at all levels across the organisation
