Senior Recruitment Administrator is required for a permanent role paying up to £22,626.98 with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Birmingham City Centre

BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s rail network. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and railway staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As Senior Recruitment Administrator with BTP you will concentrate on the promotions process for Police Officers (e.g. Constable to Sergeant and so on). This will call for you to process and coordinate the end-to-end promotions process, providing a comprehensive recruitment administrative support to the Promotions Lead and the Recruitment team overall so that the team meet all relevant standards and measures.

 

As Senior Recruitment Administrator you will be required to:

  • Process and co-ordinate all aspects of the promotion boards activity.
  • Maintains and supports the recruitment/promotion administration processes and procedures covering BTP's resourcing activities, providing a comprehensive service to the team to ensure excellent service from Recruitment.
  • As directed by the Promotion Boards Lead assemble the required routine and ad hoc reporting information into the required formats to standards of accuracy and timeliness and carries out any standard analysis of variations/exceptions/trends as to maximise the effectiveness of BTP, People Development & Development 
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to your customers on promotion/recruitment activity

  • Qualification (or equivalent experience) in recruitment, business or CIPD-qualified
  • Demonstrable history working in recruitment, administration or clerical roles
  • Proven track record of building positive working relationships with colleagues and customers both within and external to the organisation
