An Origin Support Officer is required on an 18 month fixed term contract paying £25,964.30 per annum with British Transport Police (BTP) based in Birmingham.

Origin Support Officer you will act as first line support to users, line managers and all employees using the system, providing specialist advice and guidance regarding the functionality and capability of Origin.

As an Origin Support Officer you will be required to:

  • Provide a support service and respond to all received calls, incoming queries or complaints, investigating/analysing all related issues to Origin ERP Suite.
  • Liaise with BTP Second Line Support (Senior Applications Support Analyst) to enable resolution of faults in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to the professional users of the system, and where needed, support the wider system usage by creating training materials for reference.
  • Ensure that all duties and responsibilities are undertaken with regard to the integrity and security of the system and data.

The successful
Origin Support Officer will be required to evidence the following skills/experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of a large database, including providing first line support to users.
  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of the relevant IT systems.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills including tact and discretion.
