A Level Crossing Administrator is required on a 12 Month Fixed Term contract paying £18,297.00 plus £2520 London Allowance with British Transport Police (BTP) based in London.


BTP is the national police Force for Britain’s railways. Every day we ensure the safety and security of over six million passengers and staff throughout England, Scotland and Wales. As a Level Crossing Administrator with BTP you will support the Division in providing a back office function to facilitate the smooth running of the Level Crossing Vehicles Unit

 

As a Level Crossing Administrator you will be required to:

  • Process occurrences, request PNC records, and update the relevant record systems currently NICHE and AA Drivetech systems
  • Monitor all occurrences and action outstanding activity
  • Produce case-files and other relevant reports as required;
  • Ensure accurate production and issue of Notices of Intended Prosecution, Conditional offer of Fixed Penalty and other associated correspondence related to the Level Crossing Van activity;

  • IT literate, especially Microsoft, word and excel.
  • Has worked in a busy administration role.
  • Effective time management and good organisational skills.
